I went looking around the web for the cheap way to buy this Table Mate and the amazon link to the left there is about 6 dollars cheaper then buying from the infomercials… mostly because of amazon’s cheaper shipping.

That is unless you want three of them. If you buy two on their site they’ll throw in the third one in for free, you just pay 10.00 shipping on it and 20.00 shipping for the other two. Finished inking page 10… dances a bit. This is, I think, the point where I stand back and start to believe that maybe, just maybe, I’m working out of my comic funk and that I can just keep going and do more and more. I still fret though because I’m human and I know that while I’m terribly obsessive that I can turn it off on a whim.

Still, kicks self in the ass. I need to do some pin-ups as well… like 8 a month maybe.

I can tell that if I let my brain it would wander as much as possible. There’s nothing like getting up to do something important and then wondering later why I’m looking in the fridge when I was suppose to draw a comic or go to the bank… or work on those old commissions. Maybe I need a list or something. Sigh.

– Pin-ups (8)
– Commissions (2) … at least, there’s quite possibly something like 8 left. Beats at own head!
– Go to bank- deposit those checks, check to see if money is coming in.
– Mail that order! Thank you, money!
– Finish the comic website and S&L prep (start Friday?)
– Continue the comic! (see if I can get more then 10 pages done next month)
– Mess with Gallery php to make nicer catalog for site
– Clean hard drive and archive art (running out of room! Colored art with layers TOO damn big! Jebus, 111 megs? good thing most of the comic pages are under a meg)
– Journal some with those new 4 color pens (oh shiny)
– Email people! Ross! Matt! Really nice guy who commented on site and told me nice things!
– Put some auctions up (maybe some art this time)
– Review some of those books
– Clean my room (sell and throw out some stuff)
– Laundry

– Get new Mac mouse?

Um, hey does anyone have a extra mac one button optical mouse laying around collecting dust… possibly that you replaced with a better one or one with two buttons? I bought a two button one just to get an optical mouse but it’s starting to die already and I’ve decide the scroll thingy is not for me and that I like only having one button… hell I’d love one of those old circular mice that my G4 came with but I don’t think they ever made an optical version. So yeah, please let me know i’ll gladly pay shipping or buy it off you or something. Hell doing art wouldn’t be far fetched but I’d rather it be whatever I wanted, as the commissions recently haven’t been happening. Random art I can do, specific art is troubling. Anyway let me know.

Yes, bitches!

Page 10 of the new comic is penciled. Does a little dance. I also have roughs for page 11 but not finished as it needs to have real pictures drawn and another page added. I finished a picture of the Kid eating a taco with his new creepy shadow design. It’s different for this new comic thingy. It looks good… I may add a word balloon and I may use it for a t-shirt. It’s so damn cute.

God damn, I don’t mean to sound like a hallmark card but I love making comics. Sadly, it’s taken me at least a year to work out my comic woes. But things seem better. =D Now I get to clean up the page and maybe ink it… oh, I still have all of Sunday.

Inking is done. Page count stands at 9 pages complete.

I’ll be avoiding the internet for a little bit trying to get one more page drawn, the cover picture finished, the website designed (for both Ghostcircles and for the Webcomic Nation site), and “Saiko and Lavender” ready for posting. That way next week even if my new thing isn’t ready at least I can start posting S&L.

Sorry about not posting much art recently. I hope that once this month is over that that will change. I’m feeling much more positive about everything recently. Not that anything has happened but I’m feeling good.

I’m constantly holding myself back from posting stuff because my mind is retarded. Sigh, I kind of wish I could just stop feeling the way I do… thankfully returning to drawing comics is helping somewhat.

Progress… Inked 2 pages today. That makes 7 finished pages. I’m almost done with the inking on 2 more. Also thanks to James I have a terrible idea for another short comic. Thanks a lot James now I just have to stop giggling and finish my inking so that I can draw it.

Arrgh, my posts are boring. Carry on. Nothing to see. When I have enough comics I will start posting… blah I at least ate tacos today so I actually left the house.

Two more pages penciled. Need to ink 4 of those and I’ll have 9 finished pages. Then I need one more and I also need to finish the cover and then I think I might have enough of my new comic to start posting. That’s 10 weeks if I post them once a week. Still need to spiffy up the web comic site for launching this stuff.

Not sure if I’ll have time to make new stuff for “Saiko and Lavender”… I’m considering coloring the pages but I’m a bit daunted by the 140 pages of it. Still need to track down the covers and the Spooktacular files and fix the vector font. It’s all kinds of odd, now that I look at it. It’s not a surprise since it was a tracing of a hand drawn font but still. I’ll probably completely redo it so it’ll look extra spiffy. Also I finally found the thing in illustrator that bends shapes. Sweet.

The new comic is now 5 finished pages. So, I have to get on to penciling more pages… but at least now I have an intro instead of just random jokes.

My friend Lunar is in town so I keep picking her up from the convention center and driving her to Walmart for make-up and shoes and then letting her run free around my room. Which causes her to look through my Guy and Furniture reference books, read some comics out my collection, and talk of how Handle With Care can be just a little more retarded. We’re getting there.

I think I may ask her help on looking over my mysterious 2nd TP Rising Starts of Manga entry and see if my critique of it was too harsh or if it just needs to have completely new dialog. I want to post that one at some point… hmm, maybe I’ll just put it on the Webcomic nation site but make people pay a dollar so that no one will actually look at it. Tempting.

I bought a webcomic plan at Webcomic Nation since the site offers a good plan and built in tools. Also I hoped that it would help to pull me out of my rut creating comics since I’ve just paid for a years worth of service and it would suck to not use it.

So far both of my old webcomic one-shots: “Return to Green Hollow” and “Handle with Care” are up. I’m planning to post “Saiko and Lavender” at some point but I wanted to run something new at the same time as S&L.

As of today, I have 3 completely finished pages and 2 penciled pages of this new project. I’m so happy to be moving forward on drawing that I could punch a midget. It’s sort of a revisiting of the home grown indy comic thing that I love (with other bits thrown in from all over). I’m sure it’ll be another freak baby of a comic. Yay! I hope it will entertain.

I’m not sure when the new stuff and “Saiko and Lavender” will start since I want to try to get a back log of pages so that hopefully there will be less hick ups when I start the updating.

I also hope to have new “Saiko and Lavender” comic pages as well but one thing at a time. =D
