Previews give away!
There’s this thing with “Diamond”, the comic distributor, they put out a monthly color ordering book to comic shops so people can preview what will ship in the next 2-3 months. Strangely enough these catalog things are called “Previews”. And I have stacks of them from the last, oh I’d say 5 years or so. Does anyone want any of them?
They are amusing if say you have a comic, graphic, or manga solicited. They have the promotional text and images and random catcalls that companies add to spice books up. The one for Tokyopop’s “Roadsong” for instance proclaims “the ultimate band-on-the-run story– filled with cool music and super-hot girls” for example. See what’s up in the comic industry in any given month.
I don’t know if anyone wants these things for whatever reason. But I’m going to be recycling them all here in a bit. Cause I have a billion of the damn things and two stacks of them 4 feet high is too much. Anyway if you’d like one and are willing to float me the shipping money I’ll send you whatever ones you want… minus the one or two that have my old comics in them. I’ll probably save those for old time sake.
Also I have Marvel previews as well. Please dear god someone take these.

I think he may eat that chair if it doesn’t let him sleep soon. Chair was drawn and sat in at IHOP. The kid was doodled later.

Background tests 001
I’m trying to get better at backgrounds. Specifically run down and broken places. This is all pen on paper. No pencil and no white out… this is when I think I might do some work in Painter I miss the easy white scratch board tool. So useful. But I want to be comfortable enough to be able to doodle this stuff. That’ll take a bit.

Snicker, So I was making an add for the Saiko and Lavender webcomic. To save space I made it pixel art and to make it funny I animated it. So this is what I have in a random size that only works for one site:

Dear Apple, about Quicktime 7…
I can’t play any of your trailers and I can’t update Quicktime.
Dear god in heaven. So it seems that I can no long watch trailers because I have OSX.2 and you have switched to making all of your trailers for the new version of Quicktime which REQUIRES OSX.3… This seems crappy. All I want is to watch trailers! Now I can not.
Also if you’re hiding an update for my version of OSX I’m pretty frustrated right now and your site is not helpful.
Could you at least make a version of the Trailers in the old format since it seems I am screwed, going to be screwed, and I’m never to enjoy content on the web again because everyone will switch to this new version and I’m stuck with the old version because of my OS. At least make a codex for my OS or something so I can still use Quicktime to view the new files otherwise your program is dead to me and once more I’m screwed.
Thank you. Please don’t make me switch to Windows Media Player… which probably will not support my machine either.
