I’m heading out to AnimeFest http://www.animefest.org/ this weekend in Dallas.

Sorry for the short notice, my general laziness and debilitating cold have conspired to keep me mostly asleep and coughing up phlegm. Meh, thankfully I’m over the worst of it and my burn is all nicely healed. The only thing that could come and mess everything up is my period which I’m figuring will start tomorrow… along with that comet that going to strike the earth. =/

So, it looks like I’ll be okay that oil burn hasn’t blistered yet, crosses fingers. It still hurts like a son-a-bitch whenever my cats poke me in the arm. MORE COMMON AN OCCURRENCE THEN I’D LIKE. >_<

I picked up this 4 panel book thing called Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro, which has very nice art with deep blacks… but there was a set of panels that just cracked me up. This is NOT one image it just looks that way… OMG why is this so creepy looking?

She looks like she has a huge head here!!!! Once you see it you just can’t stop and now every time I get to this part of the book I just laugh. The word balloons out of context aren’t helping either. D=

In other news that has nothing to do with the picture above. I’m beginning to think I don’t have to look at the keyboard to type any more. How weird is that? I’ve always hunted and pecked when it came to typing but now if I start the word I don’t have to look at the keyboard to finish it. Must start exploiting this new skill… also maybe I should push myself to use all ten of my fingers and not just the first two fingers and thumb of each hand. Strangely, I can also touch type slowly in Dvorak… stop rolling your eyes! LOL, I just sort of like having all the vowels on one hand and since I can switch my computer on the fly so why not?

More art and less stupid stuff in a bit. LOL.

I just burned my upper arm! GO ME! Sticks it under water for a long time… damn, it still hurts. Thankfully it’s my left arm but ow ow ow. Don’t develop into blisters, please.

Sorry for the long delays in posts… San Diego Comic Con was awesome and kicked my ass. I’ve been trying to write up a con post but so far I have like three different posts that are only half finished and not really about the con… no wait make that 4 posts. I’m super hard core. =/

I’ve been watching the Olympics on and off this last week. I’m totally scoping out the body forms of the athletes. Man the swimmer bodies are all super crazy looking, it’s like a big triangle on top of a long thin rectangle with a shapely butt that doesn’t stick out at all (this is the guy swimmers, just… you know, encase you were wondering. Now the women’s gymnastic bodies, those are just as odd.) Mind-boggling. Also a one piece swimsuit with a zipper? Awesome.

I should maybe learn where the muscles are so I can actually draw the body types instead of just sort of guessing a lot.

Ow, stupid arm. D=
