This weeks theme for the derby on Shirt Woot is Family. I haven’t been following the comments too closely as I am preparing for Blue Genie. Though I have been obsessively keeping track of my shirt’s votes! YAY!. However I did look through the entries and pick my favorites.
I’ll start from the least votes and go up to the most.
My little “Rabbit Family Tree” shirt design on Woot is actually doing well. I’m pretty happy, it looks like I might get more votes than my last high vote shirt, which reached 276 votes. Yay, for progress. So I did an image of happy marshmallow bunnies getting roasted for fun.
Sorry, I just find it funny when cute animals shaped like food want to be eaten. Nom Nom nom.
Greeting card sale has been extended to Midnight Sunday the 22nd! After that all orders will be closed to give me time to ship the orders. Please get your orders in for the greeting cards before the end of Sunday and thank you so much to everyone that has already ordered.
I am tempted to make some short run Christmas postcards since the greeting cards have done so well. I will see what I can whip up this weekend. Is there anything that you guys would like to see on a Christmas post card? I was going to do more Knittens but I’m open to ideas.
The Shirt Woot Derby theme for this week is: Family. So, I have made this cute rabbit family tree shirt based on these apple snacks. I had a cat image planned but the bunny one was much more in keeping with the topic of family.

I whipped up another shirt design for the Shirt Woot derby: Propaganda for Everyday Life. This one is: “THE BIRDS, don’t park under them!” Voting ends Thursday at noon.
I am sooo ready for a new derby theme to draw too… though I do have another shirt idea for this topic. However I’m planning to just send that image to one of the other shirt sites. I need to try some other places. Soon the rights to some of my early shirts will start reverting back to me, Woot holds the rights for 60 days, so I’ll soon have a bunch of images to send around and put in my store.

Which has been interesting for lots of people to draw on but hasn’t resulted in almost any shirts I’d want to wear personally. Too many toilets, naked baby butts, tasteless jokes, and the confederate flag. I just want things I can wear on my shirt out in public guys, don’t make jokes about the atomic bomb, that’s not cool.

I have also entered the Shirt Woot Derby #121 where the theme is “Propaganda for Everyday Lives” in which my leg cast kitty tells people, ‘Don’t say “Good Luck”, that jinxs everything, instead say “Break a Leg.”‘ He should have taken his own advice.

Finally, I have received my Knittens holiday greeting cards and they are awesome! The printing is so bright and colorful and the covers are so smooth, they are super nice. As promised pre-orders are over and those packages will go out first but I have now opened regular ordering until November the 20th! Get your orders in soon so the cards can get to you in time for the holidays! Thanks everyone for all the orders so far!
AWESOME! My friend’s exploding bear shirt has placed first in the second chance derby and is available all today (Friday, or until it sells out) for the discounted price of 10.00 dollars. Tomorrow it’ll be up for 15.00 so if you want one, go get one now! Woooootttt! I am so happy. I bought 3!
New shirt design for Threadless! Death should have never taken the tooth fairy’s pony to work while his was in the shop.
I’m just waiting for the design to be approved and then people can vote on it. =D So far I haven’t heard anything on my first design “Cute has a flavor.” But frankly I’d be surprised if the first thing I entered to Threadless did get picked for a shirt. If it doesn’t make it to print I’m planning to send it to one of the other sites. Thanks to everyone who’s been voting on these shirts and leaving comments asking about them. =D
Oh, and if you haven’t checked it out please rent the movie “INK.” We watched it yesterday and it was really awesome! It’s all about the people who give you dreams. You can check out the trailer on Youtube. They’re a super small indy urban fantasy film! Totally awesome visuals.

I’m rooting super hard for my friends exploding bear shirt! Right now it’s in the fog which means it’s very high but please give it a vote! I really, really, want to wear this shirt! And it can only happen if the shirt gets enough votes to get higher then 4th. GO Extreme national park!
Since this is the second chance derby I only have one entry of mine in the running this week and I’m super glad that it’s been included so I have something of mine to cheer on. Go, go, go, again rugrats!
