Progress report… ramble ramble, angel comic
So, I took a look over my word doc for My Muse. And I have 57 ideas for various Muse stories but only about 5 of them written out. Pondering the ideas I do have, I am starting to wonder if I just hate people or if it’s the fault of the internet. O_o At least the self mocking is still pretty high.
I completely failed on Christmas this year. No card was draw, I didn’t post a wish list, and I never mailed my own cards. Thankfully the actually holiday was really nice. My friends pitched in and bought me a tiny cute iPod shuffle, which is a awesomely gift… it’s so small. I’m so happy with it even though I hardly have any songs to put on the little thing. I need to dig out my cds and rip the songs off of them.
I have gotten pretty comfortable with the new laptop and I’m now pass the initial “Oh my god” phase of owning it. I should write a review of it since it’s pretty cool but has some interesting quirks if your an artist. Still, the ability to draw directly on the screen makes up for a lot of the hassle. That’s really neat although you have to get use to the menus being under your hand all the time… but OH MY GOD you can draw right on the screen! And I don’t have to correct for my hand not going the right way cause my hands right there. It’s totally awesome.

Whew, eyes schedule. That’s sort of rough… hopefully I’ll do well enough at them but considering that I have an art job right now I’m not sweating on the money as much as I use to. Still, it’d be nice to have the conventions do well this year. I need to consider getting a dealers table at some Anime convention in the Texas area that I could drive to. I have so much manga crap that I want to move it’d actually be worth it to pay the money for the table if it was relatively cheap. I need to get rid of the stuff that is cluttering up my room. I think I have like 3 boxes of random manga, shonen ai, yaoi, art books and translated stuff to get rid of. Not counting the art books Chad gave me to try to sell for him. Ergh.
Anyway that’s a lot of text so here’s a random comic page that I drew with an angel girl being all emo. She’ll show up in My Muse at some point, I hope.
I hade the same problem dealing with my new I-pod for the x-mas funny how after one get’s the i-pod songs seem to rain at you by the bucket ._. But hey congrats on your Laptop =3 it’s always fun to get those sort of things.
you also seem to have the busiest Shedule i’ve seen since high school! HOW CAN YOU DO IT!?!? o_o you’re gonna pop a vein from all that! get some vacations =P as for the conventions…GO DIANA! YOU CAN DO IT! ^-^ I’m Rooting for you all the way from Puerto Rico =D
