Bleach Fan art Ichigo x Chad

Ichigo and Chad struggle to get to the yaoi

So, um yeah there was this image: http://borammy.deviantart.com/art/Bleach-Ichigo-x-Chad-74244146

Here’s how I think this match would really go…

Haruka and Michiru

These were my two favorite characters from Sailor Moon although I alse had a real fondness for Sailor Saturn in the manga. This was a commission and was colored as a hand painted cel.

Mink Commission #3

Here is another commission picture of Mink from Dragon Half. She’s not wearing a whole lot but I made it very tasteful. I like the tekturized background color fade I added to this. Photoshop for the colors.

Mink Commission #3

Battle Royale

Characters from Battle Royale, the TV series… I think. This was a commision I took at A-kon 2004 and I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to post this. I really like this picture. There be hugging. =D

Battle Royale

Mink Commision #2

Here is another picture that I drew for the one guy who really likes Mink from Dragon Half. I was really happy with this picture. I’ve always really enjoyed the Dragon Half manga and OVA. It’s just such a funny show.

I have a really old picture in this same pose. On some level I know that I’m using the same pose on another level I don’t feel bad because it’s been 10 years since I drew it the first time.

Mink Commision

Moldiver

This is a recent commission that I’ve finished. Don’t ask how long I’ve had it… it’s pretty embarrassed to admit how long it’s been outstanding. ;_;

Anyway this is the main girl from Moldiver, which if you don’t remember was a 6 episode OVA. It also had some of the WORST color design I’d seen until ‘Candidate for Goddess’ or ‘Pilot Candidate’ came to the US. Really. I changed the colors enough to make the outfit work but normally it looks pretty bad. =D

The actual commission does not have the background. But I was playing with Photoshop to get the sky so now it has pretty clouds. I’m proud of those clouds and the fact that this picture is so cute. =^_^=

Inked: Zig Millennium Pens
Colored: Markers
Background: Photoshop 7, brush tool, some dodge

Moldiver in the Clowds

Heavy Metal Alchemist

I finished this for A-kon 15’s art show. Whew. Maybe I needed to get sleep so that I could drive but I think that’s a bit over rated. =D

Anyway, I tried some new coloring things with this picture. Mostly on the insturments and the Microphones. I ran color half tone over the mics to get the texture. I used mostly paths to get the cel shading on the characters. =]

FMA band sketch #6

Here are the final inks for this picture. With all of the lines cleaned up and the line wieghts added. Heh, now I go post the color version. Waves at people.

FMA band sketch #5

This is the first step when I ink anything. I lay down very simple lines with no line wieghts. Then I go back over the lines to give depth. When I use a brush or nib I tend to not have to go back over the lines as much.

The inking on this was done with a point 1 Zig Millennium. They’re a lot like Microns but the tip is plastic instead of felt and they usualy last a tad longer. You can also find them at lots of places including Kinkos and they tend to be really cheap in the single packs.

FMA band sketch #4

I thought I’d show my progression as I make an image. So I choose this rather complex one of Roy and Ed playing guitars, which is from a fanfiction I read.

I checked the faces of the characters against the manga and anime pictures from FMA that I have and fixed the faces. Roy was a little off and Ed’s hair was a little strange. Penciled this picture in 3 parts so that I didn’t have to struggle with the guitars and the mics, which were really complex, with the pencils of the characters. I used Photoshop to put the 3 pieces together so I could then ink from it.
