Friends of Lulu SD #1
I did a set of cute SD pictures for the “Friends of Lulu” organization. These may or may not be used for a new site design. Having just made a new site design myself I can understand if these pictures might not work out.
I think they’re cute. There are 5 in total.

Lethans from the comic Ilk
Fanart for of Lethans from Joteivv’s comic Ilk… although Lethans is the intellectual property of Sarah Jaffe. Whoops. =D I had a hard time telling who character was who’s so I just drew one of the cute guys. I choose poorly since Lethans isn’t Joteivv’s characters but I love Lethans and the comic so here he is. He is adorable. =D
I spent way too long on this little thing in Painter 8. Painter hates me but I’ve figured out that the Color Tint tool does interesting things. The background isn’t finished and there are a few things I may clean up over time but I like it just as it is. So I post it.

This was a badge commision I took at San Diego Comic Con 2003. I had a printer and a compter so I was able to make cute little badges. Evil Geinus lab guy.

This was a commission of someone’s original characters from A-kon 2004. They’re so cute with the hugging and the knives. =3
Fox Dude Commission
This was done last year, 2003, for a really cool guy at San Diego Comic con. His request was to draw him as a furry fox dude. So I took a picture of him with Mike’s digital camera. Then I drew the picture. I then went back to the hotel room scanned and colored it on the computer. Then I stole the design of his shirt off of the picture I’d taken and put it on the fox’s shirt. Presso! Commission. Printed this out for him and made him a cute laminated badge to go with it.
Done on an old computer with a 4 GB hard drive and 256 MG of ram. Used Photoshop 5.5 and a mouse. Thankfully most of the shading was done with the pencil and the line tool. Oh, and lots of Photoshop cheating. Which includes the background box and the line coloring. =D
Friends of Lulu badge
Hmmm, what can I say about this? I did this for a comics group called Friends of Lulu which is a group that promotes and encourages female readership and participation in the comic book industry.
This was a cute badge I drew with their mascot girl. I updated her to look a little more modern and more anime. She’s pretty cute. This was used as the cover on a freebe book that was in comic shops on Free Comic Book day.
