This was picture was drawn sometime in 2005 but I thought it was pretty cute. This was before I had figured out exactly what I wanted the “My Muse” version of myself to look like. So this is a work in progress image as I was testing the style. Also tiny sketch of Mike working on art. Yeah he sits like that… it doesn’t look comfortable but I’m sure I draw all wierd too since I tend to draw on my lap. Anyway, happy teeth!

I don’t seem to update very much of my artwork… even though I draw a lot. So I thought I’d start posting more stuff for you guys. No reason not to it’s just hanging out and all. =]

Out in California, I keep seeing girls wearing the “don’t” part of this image. They are perfectly pretty girls but they really need to buy bigger pants cause they don’t seem to fit in the size they are wearing. Hiphuggers are suppose to fall right above your hips… not squeeze your flesh so you’re bulging all over.

The Do image was drawn from a photo in Teen Vogue. I figure I needed some figure drawing practice. Also my friends call the pudge on the don’t image, the “Muffin top.”

Two more pages penciled. Need to ink 4 of those and I’ll have 9 finished pages. Then I need one more and I also need to finish the cover and then I think I might have enough of my new comic to start posting. That’s 10 weeks if I post them once a week. Still need to spiffy up the web comic site for launching this stuff.

Not sure if I’ll have time to make new stuff for “Saiko and Lavender”… I’m considering coloring the pages but I’m a bit daunted by the 140 pages of it. Still need to track down the covers and the Spooktacular files and fix the vector font. It’s all kinds of odd, now that I look at it. It’s not a surprise since it was a tracing of a hand drawn font but still. I’ll probably completely redo it so it’ll look extra spiffy. Also I finally found the thing in illustrator that bends shapes. Sweet.

After reading Finder this quote: “If a thing is worth doing, it’s worth doing badly.” made me draw this picture. I’m not sure why the idea for it just popped my head full formed and poked me.

It’s me and my art supplies (a Staedtler 03 pencil, click erasure, and comics) and a angel girl with swords. Maybe she’s my comic muse and she’s poking me with a toe trying to get me moving and if I don’t she’ll stab me vengefully. I feel I’ve been stabbed a lot. =[

Working on comics again. Progress is slow. So I present this comic about me making comics. There is love. I like how in my mind the first thing that comes to mind with comics is cross hatching.

Giggle, I love this little guy. I’ll probabbly draw more pictures of him biting people but for right now here’s the before shot of how happy he is the second before he bites someone.

He’s so creepy. I love him and I’d hug him but I don’t want to be bitten. Locks the kid in a room.
