Waiting and Convention prep

Well, everything for A-kon is mostly done but I’m waiting on a package that should have been delivered to me yesterday since it was an overnight package. Waits, waits, calls to bitch at company, waits some more, colors a background to a picture just to have one more picture for the art show.

Colors, makes some stuff up, circle, highlight, Photoshop takes forever to save when you have 10 layers, finishes up. Well I think that’s it. I think I’m finished with everything. Waits for the package some more.

All I need to do is print this one last picture and cut a matt for it. That gives me 17 pictures for the art show. Which is good since I have 2 panels. Heh, also I got to test out just how large my printer can print by making 13 x 19 prints. They look really awesome.

I wonder how long it can take for an overnight package sent 2 days ago to run late? I hate waiting!! Waits some more.

Goes to cut some business cards. Well, I should be heading out from here some time soon for A-kon, which is an anime convention in Dallas this weekend. I have a Komik Market table there and 2 panels in the art show. This will be the first time I may actually have everything ready on time for it. I’ve only been going to this convention for at least 10 years. =D

Business cards are cut… I’m thinking really hard of cutting out the last matt I need… that’s about as much waiting time as I want to do. C’mon waiting god, oh sleeping twitchy cat with two heads, deliver me from my pain of having to stay in my house. Throws cat nip on the floor.

I hope to be leaving soon.

  1. Hey Diana! This is your FAVORITE fan. I was at akon and got your comics series. I know you had some on your table but you were gone by 4:30 and the dealers room closed at 5:00. I told one of the Radio Comix people to tell you hell. Your PPG style Belldandy is sooo Kawaii! It is framed in my room in a cheap frame but I cannot afford much after the kon. Congrats on your work. You really impressed me and its my first time at a kon. Thanks!
