| Something To Hold On To(1996): The second story that I did involved Brianna and a lot of crying. I did this story when I was really into Shoujo comics so it's kind of dramatic. At the time I wanted to do this story because I really liked Brianna as a character and thought that maybe she had problems. I don't know maybe I was depressed.
This story took about 3 months to do and most of the time, 2 months and three weeks, were spent on just the first three pages. This is because all of the shading on them is stippling (little dots) done by hand with a .005 pigma pen. I keep telling myself that I'll never do that again and still I find myself trying to use it again. Sigh.
Layouts: These are the layouts for the Brianna story. I thought you guys might want to see what they looked liked. There is no "page 9" layout I don't know what happen but it has dissappered. Oh well. |
